Karry Causey - Owner & Founder

Karry Causey is the heartbeat of BC Construction & Design. He supervises our builds, overseeing each detail from start to finish.

This journey began shortly before Hurricane Katrina with a home renovation project. Taking the baby steps of learning design and construction, Karry had an epiphany...he loved the work!

After the storm, as everyone came home to rebuild, residents struggled to find good contractors and materials. People needed help. As he began to rebuild his own home, Karry started helping neighbors as a catalyst for emotional healing and ensuring communities would thrive again. This dream took shape that long-time residents and newcomers could move into beautiful new homes.

Many people have been with us along the way, planting the seeds for what has grown into a thriving business that has completed countless builds…far too many to show here.

Karry partnered with his good friend Mark Daus who runs a successful business in Phoenix, AZ. Together they founded Turn Our Lights On, LLC. The name is a nod to getting New Orleans rebuilt and neighbors back in their homes. Together they have built or renovated about 30 residences.

Soon after, another friend, Raymond Graham, a business owner from Boston, visited the city and wanted to help. Raymond and Karry started Full Circle Homes, LLC, buying blighted properties or vacant lots, and building brand-new homes in these areas.

As word spread about the beautiful projects happening in the city's various neighborhoods, another colleague stepped up to be a part of the progress. Mike Colemen of Go Gentilly, LLC, partnered with Karry to successfully create highly desired residential builds.

Almost 19 years later, that passion has morphed into a family business. But the commitment to our community has never changed. We build homes we want to live in! Nothing makes us happier than to hand over the keys of a beautiful new home to its owner, thinking of the memories they will create there!
